Professional experience and qualifications
Computantis is led by Rumyana Peneva-Valacheva, who began her accounting career in 1996 and established her independent accounting practice in Bulgaria in 1997.
Her professional background also includes five years as Chief Accountant of a regional branch of a Bulgarian state-owned enterprise.
She holds Master's degrees in Finance and Accounting, awarded in Bulgaria and formally recognised in the Czech Republic by Masaryk University in Brno.
Since 2022, Rumyana has also worked in the Czech Republic, including in Chief Accountant roles. In 2025, she began providing independent accounting services there as a registered self-employed professional (OSVČ).
This combination enables Computantis to bring together in-depth knowledge of Bulgarian accounting with direct professional experience in another European business environment.
